The property in East Moor Drive where a woman in her 50s was found dead
A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a woman was found dead at a property in a suburb of Milton Keynes, police have said.
Officers were called to a property in East Moor Drive, Wolverton Mill, at about 6pm on Sunday after reports of welfare concerns.
A woman in her 50s, who has not yet been formally identified, was found dead at the property.
Her family are being supported by officers and have asked for privacy, police said.
A 58-year-old man from Milton Keynes has been arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in police custody.

‘Complex investigation’
Det Ch Insp Sally Spencer, the senior investigating officer of the Thames Valley Police major crime unit, said: “Our thoughts are with the family and friends of the woman who has sadly died.
“We know this incident will cause concern locally. However, we do not believe there is any ongoing risk to the wider community.
“This is a complex investigation that is still in its early stages.
“There will continue to be a visible police presence in the area, and we encourage anyone with concerns to speak with officers at the scene.
“We would also urge people not to share speculation, particularly on social media.”
