On Thursday, Jan. 29, the couple announced the sex of their baby in a showstopping musical number with original lyrics set to “Someone in the Crowd” from La La Land.
The video, which was uploaded on TikTok and Instagram, begins with the couple in bed as Mark holds up a newspaper that reads "Baby Hoying! Boy or girl? Arriving June 2026."
The couple tied the knot in July 2023 at the Ritz-Carlton Bacara in Santa Barbara, Calif., after six years of dating. They announced they are expecting a baby together in Oct. 2025.

As the camera pans out, the two begin singing to one another about what they think their baby will be like.
The two then begin their morning routine of brushing their teeth as Mark sings "What if they're into football?" and Scott responds, "Dear God, don't say such things."
"No matter what they're into, we'll love them just the same," the couple sing in unison.
As the two walk downstairs and make their way to the kitchen, they continue to wonder what their baby will be like.
"Just because a baby is a certain gender doesn't mean they have certain interests," sings Mark during another portion of the song. "Like a boy can like glitter and a girl can play hockey? Well, it's true, so I don't think we place any expectations on our baby before they're born."
After they come into agreement, they open their front door, and after a pink light shines in, they sing "Our baby is a girl" and dance through the streets in all pink attire.

Surrounded by dancers, they continue singing about what their baby might be like until the video transitions to the couple on a pink heart-shaped float.
"When our daughter grows up, what if she comes out to us as," sings Scott, to which Mark responds, "you don't need to have the answers. Take it day by day."
The video ends with the couple back outside celebrating that they will soon by a family of three.
