Ray J shared an update on his health in an Instagram video after he was hospitalized for pneumonia and heart pain
"My health is not okay," the singer shared while thanking fans for their concern and prayers
In an earlier video, Ray J said his doctors told him he likely wouldn't live to 2027
Ray J is giving fans an update on his health.
The singer was recently hospitalized after contracting pneumonia and experiencing heart pain earlier this month, per Daily Mail, and on Sunday, Ray J shared on social media where his health stands.
In the Instagram video shared on Sunday, the singer thanked fans for thinking of him and praying for him during his recent health issues.
"I want to thank everybody for praying for me," Ray J began. "I was in a hospital. My heart's only beating like 25 percent, but as long as I stay focused and stay on the right path, everything will be all right."
"My health is not okay, so I thank everybody for supporting and praying for me," he added.

In a recent Instagram live, which was later reshared on X, Ray J said, "2027 is definitely a wrap for me," and which said his doctors projected.
The singer was admitted to a hospital in Las Vegas on Jan. 7, TMZ first reported, due to severe pneumonia and heart pain. A source close to Ray J told the outlet the singer underwent X-rays and an echocardiogram, but did not reveal any results.
Ray J experienced another bout of pneumonia roughly four years prior in 2021, PEOPLE previously reported, and was admitted to a Miami hospital for treatment.
"He's in the hospital for pneumonia, but it's not the contagious kind," the musician's longtime manager, David Weintraub, told PEOPLE at the time. "[The doctors] wanted to keep him there a couple extra days to watch him."

Weintraub also confirmed the singer did not have COVID-19, despite initially being placed in the facility's COVID unit. During his treatment, Ray J was hooked up to oxygen and using an inhaler to support his breathing, per a later PEOPLE report.
Through Weintraub, Ray J wrote in a message to PEOPLE: "I appreciate all the love and support from everybody. Thank you for keeping me in your prayers, and I will be back up and running soon."
