A TikTok user shared her surprise after unexpectedly meeting former President Joe Biden on a flight
"Tweaking rn bc President Joe Biden is sitting two rows behind me on my flight and WE SPOKE," the college student wrote
Biden wrote the passenger a note referencing their shared connection to Villanova University, where former first lady Jill Biden earned her MA
A young passenger got a major shock on a recent flight.
TikTok user "lattesbeforlife", whose first name is Cailyn, appeared to be in the business class section on a commercial flight when she spotted former President Joe Biden sitting just two rows behind her.
"Tweaking rn bc President Joe Biden is sitting two rows behind me on my flight and WE SPOKE," Cailyn captioned the post. "Can't believe this isn't an April fools joke."

In the clip, the teen points the camera over her shoulder to show the former president, 83, sitting feet away from her. In the background, Biden reads a newspaper across the aisle. The camera then cuts to Biden standing over Cailyn's row, speaking to the teen. The two then pose for a selfie.
In a second TikTok video shared by Cailyn, Biden writes her a note: "Cailyn, It was truly a pleasure getting to meet and speak with you on our way to the West Coast. You and my wife Jill 'Dr. Biden' both chose Villanova," the note read. Former first lady Dr. Jill Biden can be seen sitting next to the president in the clip.

"Pt 2 of meeting former prezzzz on my flight. How will I even process this?" she captioned the post.

In a comment under the TikTok, she confirmed that Biden spoke to her about attending Villanova University, where Dr. Biden received her Master of Arts in English. "He was so happy to hear I’m a freshman there and immediately asked Dr. Biden to talk to me abt her experience," she wrote.

Last week, the Bidens made headlines as they welcomed new additions to their family: two rescue dogs. The couple adopted two black lab mixes from Humane Animal Partners in Delaware.

"These two Johnson County pups were adopted together yesterday by the Biden family," the shelter wrote in a Facebook post. "As you can see the pup on the right is staying true to Johnson County TN character and will not sit still for the photo shoot .. ready to run and play."
According to Humane Animal Partners, the dogs are now named Boo and Scout. They were among 15 at-risk animals transported to Delaware as part of Humane Animal Partners' partnership with BISSELL Pet Foundation's Transport Program. The dogs were named Linda and Rocky before being adopted by the Bidens.
