A cause of death has been revealed for YouTube creator David Adam Williams, one month after the travel vlogger's body was discovered in his Florida home.

In a Monday Facebook post, Adams's father Jim confirmed his cause of death as "atherosclerotic and hypertensive cardiovascular disease," adding that his manner of death was described as "natural causes" in an autopsy report from the Medical Examiner.

"Our beloved Son… your beloved friend… died, in essence, of a heart attack in his sleep from health issues he probably never knew he had," Jim explained. "Now, we can all stop guessing.  Be grateful the Lord allowed him to die at home and not in a foreign country.  Be grateful he was found by friends (as hard as that was) and not some nameless stranger."

He concluded by adding, "Be alert.  Be ready.  We love you all.  Thank you for loving Adam."

Williams, known to viewers as Adam the Woo, was found dead at his home in Celebration, Fla. on Dec. 22, 2025. At the time, a spokesperson for the Osceola County Sheriff's Office told PEOPLE, "The residence was secured, and no contact was made with the adult male residing there."

The statement noted that deputies later responded to the location for an unattended death after a friend of Williams' borrowed a ladder and looked into the third story window to see "a male on a bed that was not moving." Authorities arrived on the scene were Williams was pronounced dead at 51.
